En una día no muy lajano...

Where to start... Well, my name is Alexandru Titeu, but everyone calls me Alex... I was born in Europe in the town of Timisoara in Romania... I currently live in Kitchener, a relatively small town south of Toronto, Ontario, Canada... Since you are reading this, I guess you want to know a little something about me...

Besides being a student of economics at the University of Waterloo, I am also involved in other projects, some active, some not:

The president and administrator of the Romanina Student Association at the University of Waterloo, where I organized events, ranging from Romanian Cinema Nights to parties at the Bomber and other places. I was also the vice-president of the Spanish Society where I planned the Spanish Department formal, a joint event attended by students and faculty members from University of Waterloo and Wilfrid Laurier University.

The producer, host, and dj of my own radio show (link). The two main shows I produced are Mix Dejun (Wednesday 7:30-9:00, Saturday 8:00-9:00) and the critically acclaimed Weekend Siesta (Saturday 18:30-20:00). One day I just thought it would be a good idea to be on the radio. Almost a year later, after finally deciding to take action, and going through all the bureaucracy, I was on-air.

I co-created, designed, and maintain an on-line community for Romanian students in Canada. The project started in Ottawa in the fall of 2002. The forum was hosted on Bogdanx's server and created by me and Octav Buliga. As time went by the forum got split in two. A forum for the Ottawa region, managed by Octav, and a forum for the Kitchener-Waterloo reagion known as Roforum.com, managed by me. This later evolved into UWRSA.com, the website of the Romanian Student Asociation at UW.

That's it for now, but greater things are to come...
